A CV tells you what someone did. Kippler tells you what to ask about. Upload a CV and get a structured assessment that highlights strengths, risks, evidence gaps and a skills breakdown — judged against the role you are hiring for, not a generic template. Founders can make sense of specialist evidence. HR can create a consistent candidate briefing across interviewers. Recruiters can ask stronger candidate questions and present evidence more credibly to clients.

The problem with reading CVs manually

A CV is a marketing document. Candidates present their best version of their career. The gaps, the short tenures, the claimed skills that never appear in a role description — these are easy to miss when you are reading quickly. And without a structured framework, every interviewer focuses on different things.

How Kippler helps

Kippler analyses each CV against the role you are hiring for and produces a structured assessment you can use immediately.

  • Overall fit score out of 10
  • Key strengths, specific to the role
  • Risks and watch points — short tenures, unexplained gaps, claimed skills without evidence
  • Evidence gaps — things the CV claims but does not substantiate
  • Skills breakdown across the competencies that matter for this role
  • Executive summary you can share with your team

Frequently asked questions

Is the job description required?

No. You can assess a CV without a job description. But adding one makes the assessment more specific — Kippler judges the candidate against the actual role rather than producing a generic analysis.

What does the fit score mean?

The fit score is out of 10 and reflects how well the CV matches the role requirements. It is one input into your decision, not a substitute for professional judgement.

Can I share the assessment with colleagues?

Yes. Each assessment can be shared via a secure link, and the candidate is saved to your organisation’s candidate database for your team to access.

Does Kippler assess candidates differently for different roles?

Yes. The assessment is generated for the specific combination of the CV and the job description. The same candidate assessed against two different roles will produce different strengths, risks and scores.
