Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kippler platform at kippler.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and Vorlo Ltd, the company that operates the Kippler platform.

If you are using Kippler on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Service Description

Kippler is a web-based platform that provides AI-assisted candidate assessment, interview planning and hiring intelligence tools. The service is designed to help hiring managers, HR teams, recruiters and business leaders interview candidates more effectively.

Core features of the platform include:

• Candidate CV analysis and summary generation
• Strengths and risk identification
• Tailored interview question generation
• Interview scoring and evaluation guidance
• Interview notes analysis and structured feedback
• Searchable candidate database of your own assessed records

Vorlo Ltd reserves the right to modify, update or discontinue features of the platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

User Accounts

To use Kippler, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring that information you provide during registration is accurate and kept up to date
• Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You must not share your account credentials with others, or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their knowledge and consent.

Customer Responsibilities

By uploading candidate information to Kippler, you confirm that:

• You have a lawful basis under applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR) for processing the candidate's personal data
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with employment law, equality law and data protection law in your jurisdiction when making use of Kippler's outputs
• You have obtained any necessary consents or have an appropriate legitimate interest basis for processing the candidate information you upload
• You will use Kippler's assessments and recommendations as one input in your decision-making, and not as a sole or determinative factor in hiring decisions

You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of the data you submit to the platform. Vorlo Ltd accepts no liability for any breach arising from your failure to establish a lawful basis for processing candidate data.

AI-Assisted Recommendations

The assessments, interview questions, scores and summaries generated by Kippler are intended to assist your thinking, not to replace it. They are based on information contained within the documents you provide and should be treated as guidance rather than definitive conclusions.

Kippler's outputs may not capture information not present in the submitted documents, and may contain inaccuracies or limitations. You should always exercise your own professional judgement when evaluating candidates.

Vorlo Ltd makes no warranty that Kippler's assessments are accurate, complete or suitable for any particular recruitment decision. The use of AI-assisted tools in hiring does not exempt you from your legal obligations as an employer or recruiter.

Candidate Data

You retain ownership of all candidate information you upload to the Kippler platform. By uploading candidate data, you grant Vorlo Ltd a limited licence to process that data for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Vorlo Ltd acts as a data processor in relation to candidate personal data. You remain the data controller. Our obligations as a data processor are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Candidate data uploaded to your account is private to your account or organisation. It is not visible to other Kippler customers. It is not sold, shared for advertising purposes, or used to train AI models operated by Vorlo Ltd.

You may delete candidate records from your account at any time. You can request full deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].

Prohibited Use

You must not use Kippler for any of the following:

• Any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
• Uploading content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Uploading malicious code, viruses or any content designed to damage or disrupt systems
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other accounts or infrastructure
• Performing security testing, penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without prior written consent from Vorlo Ltd
• Using the platform to discriminate unlawfully against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics
• Scraping, harvesting or reverse engineering the platform
• Using the platform in any way that could bring Vorlo Ltd or Kippler into disrepute

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

Payments and Credits

Kippler is offered through prepaid credit packages. One candidate screening costs 1 credit. One full candidate assessment, promotion to a full assessment, or re-analysis costs 10 credits.

The available packages, prices and credit quantities are displayed on the Kippler pricing page and confirmed again before payment. Prices shown on the marketing website exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Applicable VAT or other taxes are calculated during Stripe Checkout using the customer's billing information.

Upfront purchases

When you choose to pay upfront, the full package price is charged as a single payment. The package credits are added to your Kippler account after the payment has been confirmed successfully.

Twelve monthly payments

Where offered, you may choose to spread the cost of a credit package over 12 fixed monthly instalments.

This option is a 12-payment commitment and is not a cancel-any-time subscription. All credits included in the package are added to your Kippler account after the first successful payment. The remaining monthly instalments continue to be payable after the credits have been granted.

The commitment ends automatically after payment 12 and does not renew automatically. Closing your Kippler account does not remove an outstanding payment obligation created when you selected the 12-payment option.

If an instalment becomes overdue, Kippler may temporarily prevent new use of finite credits until the overdue payment has been resolved. Existing candidate records, reports and completed work will remain available, subject to these Terms and our data-retention policies.

Credit expiry

Credits purchased upfront expire 12 months after they are granted to your account.

Credits purchased through the 12-payment option expire 12 months after they are granted following the first successful payment.

Unused or expired credits do not automatically roll over or convert into cash.

Refunds

Fees paid for credit packages are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Unused credits, account closure or failure to use the service before credit expiry do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

Price changes

Vorlo Ltd may change the prices of future credit packages. A price change will not alter the agreed price of a package already purchased or an existing 12-payment commitment.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Vorlo Ltd does not store full payment-card details.

Service Availability

Kippler aims to provide a reliable, high-availability service. However, we do not guarantee that the platform will be available uninterrupted, error-free or free from temporary outages.

Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Vorlo Ltd accepts no liability for losses arising from unavailability of the service caused by events outside our reasonable control, including hosting provider outages, internet disruption or force majeure events.

Intellectual Property

The Kippler platform, including its software, design, branding and content, is owned by Vorlo Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes.

You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the platform. You do not acquire any rights in the Kippler platform, software or brand.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vorlo Ltd shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Kippler, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, hiring decisions made in reliance on the platform, or damages arising from recruitment outcomes.

Vorlo Ltd's total aggregate liability to you for direct damages in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Vorlo Ltd during that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, where applicable under UK law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

Vorlo Ltd may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• You breach these Terms of Service
• Your use of the platform causes harm to Vorlo Ltd, other users, or third parties
• You engage in any prohibited activity described in these terms
• Payment for credits fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data prior to termination. Vorlo Ltd will retain and delete data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
